Version Release Notes
The newest version improves the reading of the reasons for fail on the test report sheet
This version includes the changes to the HGV testers manual for 2010
This update is to be installed for the 1st of MArch 2010

Please note that this process must be completed for each PC running VTM
1. Take a backup of the folder c:\program files\vtm
2. Open VTM, Go to the system settings and take note of the database location if one is listed
3. Download the following file vtmapp.exe (The VTM Upgrade application), Save the file listed above vtmapp.exe to a location,
4.To upgrade the applicationand double click vtmapp.exe with the left mouse button to run it.
5. When ran a winzip self extractor dialog box appears, with a unzip to location already filled in – “c:\program files\vtm\” if the application was installed to a different location change it by use of the browse button, otherwise leave it as is.
6. Click “Unzip”
7. A new message box will appear stating that 1 file has been unzipped successfully, click “OK” the message box disappears, click Close and the winzip window closses.
8. Click “Exit” to close the Menu and run VTM again as normal, all changes will now be in effect
9. When you run the new VTM for the first time it will ask you to select the database,
10 Browse to the location of the database and select it
11. Click Close
12. A dialog appears telling you that there was a problem with the database - This is ok it is because the update is upgrading it.
13. Click close then re-run the VTM application as normal and login
